Closet
Closet, Pakistan’s first fashion rental marketplace, allows females to rent out outfits and earn from home. Funding from Karandaaz helped onboard numerous female fashion renters and female customers looking for affordable dresses. Through technology integrations, the platform has enabled receiving of digital payments at its touch points, activations of female owned mobile account to receive the payments digitally.
DigiKhata
DigiKhata is a user-friendly bookkeeping app that has enabled financial management for self-employed females. The app has enabled many women to manage their finances by sending payment reminders to their customers free of cost and get early payment in their account to main liquidity. The platform also enabled the females to see recharge through the platform and earn a commission.
Helpp Technologies
Helpp, through its participation in the Financial Inclusion of Women Challenge, strengthened its technology platform that connects female grooming services providers to female customers. The platform has enabled the underserved skilled females to access income generating opportunities, digitally receive the payments against services and get included in the formal financial ecosystem.
Instacare
InstaCare is transforming healthcare in Pakistan with a digital health platform that connects patients with verified healthcare providers. With Karandaaz’s support, InstaCare listed female health practioners, enabling remote income earning opportunity through the platform. The initiative created numerous remote micro-jobs and, highlighting the platform’s success in empowering skilled women in healthcare.
Oraan
Oraan is a women-led fintech that digitizes Rotating Savings and Credit Committees (ROSCAs), focusing on providing a safe and flexible financial soothing solution. With access to a large community of women, Oraan is innovating financial product design and distribution to ensure equitable access to savings product.
Redmarker
RedMarker Systems is an Ed-tech company specializing in digital assessment solutions. In collaboration with Karandaaz, the platform created numerous e-marking jobs for women in Pakistan, training and onboarding many women as e-markers and item writers. RedMarker also provided financial literacy trainings for female e-markers through online training sessions.
TechHive (Tutorbees)
Tutorbees offers high-quality 1-to-1 tutoring services with expert female tutors. With Karandaaz’s support, Tutorbees developed a robust platform for female tutors to connect with students, featuring a review system, user-friendly interface, and efficient complaint management. Strategic marketing and streamlined payment processes expanded the platform’s reach.
Techlets (Walee)
Walee is a leading influencer marketing and social commerce platform that enables females to leverage on their social network of community, friends and followers to generate income. The platform provides female content creators, social media influencers and community workers to upsell businesses products and services and generate income through the platform.
